The Sheraton Station Square is situated on the Monongahela River in the South Shore neighborhood of downtown Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The modern property offers newly renovated rooms, a fitness center, convenience store, on-site dining, free Wi-Fi for guests, is pet friendly, and has immaculate views of the Pittsburgh skyline. The property is conveniently located within Station Square, which currently offers 10 restaurants, a coffee shop, and souvenir shops. The Monongahela Incline is steps away along with a public transportation stop, and Market Square is within one mile. 
The 2026 Convention will have 17 dedicated breakout rooms, a dedicated meeting room, and two dedicated ballrooms across the first and open-air, second floor. Leadership negotiated a highly competitive, flat room rate with many concessions.

The adjacent parking garage is currently at a $30 overnight rate with in/out privileges for hotel guests.

The T-Stop is conveniently located at Station Square for those who are looking to take public transportation.

Coffee 

  1. Nicholas Coffee & Tea Co.: Historic Market Square favorite with hand-roasted beans and classic coffee drinks. Pick up a bag of beans to take home, too.  
    La Prima Espresso Co.: A well-loved espresso bar serving Italian-style coffee drinks in the Strip District. Treat yourself to the best biscotti for dipping just steps away at Enrico Biscotti Bakery. 
  2. The Boredom Set: Small, hip café with great coffee and cozy vibes. Located in Market Square. 
  3. La Gourmandine: Need a perfect buttery, flaky French croissant or pain au chocolat to go with your coffee? La Gourmandine on Forbes Avenue is the perfect spot.  
  4. Gasoline Street Coffee Co.: A short walk just over to First Avenue. Strong coffee and great breakfast sammies.  
  5. Delanie’s Coffee: Southside specialty coffee shop with great sandwiches. Don’t sleep on their smoothies though.

  1. Emerson’s: Located in the Market Square. For those looking for speakeasy vibes, this may be a good spot. Great craft cocktails and dinner menu.  
  2. Sly Fox Taphouse: Brews near the Point. (Liberty Ave.) 
  3. The Summit: Just a quick ride up the incline. Cocktails and small bites in a cozy, quaint setting.  
  4. Bridges and Bourbon: Right in the mix on Penn Ave. A can’t-miss stop for whisky lovers.  
  5. Il Tetto Beer Garden: Need a view? Check out the third floor of Sienna Mercato, Il Tetto, for a panoramic shot of Pittsburgh. (Penn Ave.)

Day 1 – (Mt. Washington/Lawrenceville) 

  • Take the Monongahela incline up to Mt. Washington (about a 7 min walk from the Sheraton) 
    • $2.50 one way

  • Brunch at Eggs N Moore (Awesome Diner-Style spot!) 
  • Enjoy Mt. Washington and Grandview Park views of the city 
  • Walk around and check out the shops throughout the neighborhood

  • Take the incline back down to get ready for dinner
