ECA 108th Annual ECA Convention - Registration Open

We are only about two months away from the Eastern Communication Association Annual Convention in Boston, Massachusetts.

To get the most out of our Convention, we encourage you to enact your “Freedom To” register early so you can have “Freedom From” long waits at the conventions site.

Your registration includes the freedom to access all convention session, access to all convention-wide receptions and events, access to our publishers exhibits, and, of course, opportunities to network with your past, present, and future colleagues at the Eastern Communication Association.

You can have the freedom to register for additional opportunities.

Our Short Courses are education courses designed to provide skills and knowledge to take back to your institution to strengthen the scholarship of discovery and the scholarship of teaching. These Short Courses have been carefully selected by Dante Morelli and Steve Granelli, and their review team, to maximize the take-back to your school. Short Courses are held throughout the Convention. Descriptions of the Courses are in the program, and you can sign up for as many or as few as you wish.

This is also a Basic Course Conference year. Angela Hosek has curated a collection of opportunities to improve the student learning experience, and the faculty teaching experience, applicable across institutions. This Wednesday opportunity allows a focus on the Basic Course, although the themes from the BCC will be carried forward through many sessions at the main Convention.

Finally, there are opportunities to support our undergraduate scholars throughout the James C. McCroskey and Virginia P. Richmond Undergraduate Scholars Conference. Mary Mino and Tom Donlan have worked to select the finest undergraduate papers and posters. In addition to posters and panels, there is an opportunity to support our USC scholars at the USC luncheon.

Please visit http://ecasite.org/aws/ECA/pt/sp/convention_registration to register today.

Best,

Benjamin R. Bates
Vice President
