| Job description | The Visiting Lecturer in the School of Design, Arts, and Communication’s Department of Communication will be responsible for providing instruction for courses across all levels of the Business Communication and Communication Studies programs. Course assignments may include teaching introductory communication courses such as Public Speaking, Human Communication, and Communication Ethics, and courses within the successful candidate’s disciplinary area of expertise. Teaching responsibilities includes 30 contact hours (typically five courses per semester). Master’s degree in Communication or related discipline required and two years of teaching experience at the college level, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ph.D. preferred, and professional applied communication experience a plus. |
