CALL FOR PAPERS

COMMUNITY COLLEGE INTEREST GROUP

Eastern Communication Association110th Annual ECA Convention

April 10-14, 2019

Omni Providence Hotel, Providence, RI

The Community College Interest Group is requesting paper and panel submissions for the 110th Annual ECA Convention in Providence, RI. The convention theme, Creating Our Future, is centered on the idea we can use our resources to create better education, successful relationships, and efficient communication. The Community College Interest Group is interested in receiving submissions that investigate Communication within two-year colleges, for the students at two-year colleges, as well as Communication expanding out from the two-year college. In keeping with the conference theme of Creating Our Future, this group encourages submissions that investigate theory and practice pertaining to the future landscape of Communication at the two-year college. Proposals of competitive papers and panels are encouraged.

Papers and panel/program proposals must be submitted electronically by Monday, October 15, 2018

ECA will now be using Attendee Interactive to manage submissions and reviews. This is the same system used by the National Communication Association so you may be familiar with it. The deadline for submissions remains the same, October 15, 2018 at 11:59 PM. You will be prompted to create a new User ID and Password to submit your work. An email will be sent to the membership in the next couple of months to announce when Attendee Interactive will be open for submission.
