Inspired by the ECA theme "Currents," this short course explores how instructors can employ analytical thinking and critical thinking skills to recognize trends in media that embrace diversity, equity, and inclusion. Given student dependence on media, students have an increased interest in and need for media literacy and media production skills. This short course employs techniques for students to examine, critique, and create media examples that promote student engagement in social justice and greater inclusion.
