ECA Mobile App Program is live!!!

Through hours of tireless work on behalf of two members of my Planning Team (Hans Schmidt and Olivia Mihalich), ECA 2015 has its first ever in your hand program!

The program is available both online (in a web version – so that you can print out documentation of your schedule for reimbursement) and on mobile devices. The 2015 mobile app program is a new initiative. We will be looking at the utility of the program and determining what works best for our members (including the company with whom we worked this year and the elements that can and cannot be included in this medium) so that we will offer you the best sources possible. Yes – there are bound to be glitches and changes needed as happens with any first effort. We hope that you will provide us with feedback. We also hope that you will find the app incredibly useful and beneficial!

Instructions from the Team:

“To help make your convention experience all the more productive, this year we are introducing a convention app program that you can view on your Android or Apple iOS smartphone or tablet.

The 2015 ECA Program app will provide convention information that is typically included in the print program, and can be accessed anywhere on your smartphone or tablet as well as direct access links to all of our sponsors.

With this app you can:

- Easily search the program by day, interest group, individual speaker, or type of event
- Create a personalized schedule for each day
- Join in the deliberation and share sessions on Facebook and Twitter
- Access program information even without Wi-Fi reception

And more!

The app is now available for you to download! To download, follow these simple steps:

1. Go to either the iTunes App Store, the Google Play Store, or  the Amazon App Store

2. Search “EventPilot Conference App”

3. Download the app

4. When prompted for an Event Code, please type in “ECA 2015”

5. Your app will download, and you will be prompted to open your app

To view a web version of the app, visit http://ativ.me/5bv. Take some time to play with the app (including the “App Help” section under “More”). Many of the elements that you want, you will find. Just to cover our bases, we will have volunteers at the convention to help you with your app or guide you into locating the information that you need.

See you in Philly!”
